Returns & Refunds

 

At Mobile World Leeds, your statutory rights are protected under UK consumer law.

 

Online purchases:

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, even if you have changed your mind. You then have a further 14 days to return the item. You may open the packaging and inspect the product as you reasonably would in a shop. If the item has been used or handled more than necessary and this reduces its value, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund.

 

In-store purchases:

If you buy an item in store and simply change your mind, there is no automatic legal right to a refund. We may accept a return or exchange at our discretion, provided the item is unused, complete and accompanied by proof of purchase.

 

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods:

If an item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, your statutory rights apply regardless of whether the packaging has been opened. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement.

 

Opened items:

Opening a product does not automatically prevent a return. For online orders, you are entitled to inspect the item. However, if the item has been excessively used, damaged or reduced in value beyond normal inspection, this may affect the amount refunded.

 

Exceptions:

Certain items may be excluded from change-of-mind returns once opened, including sealed software and sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for genuine health or hygiene reasons. This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty.

 

Proof of purchase:

We may ask for reasonable proof that the item was purchased from Mobile World Leeds, such as a receipt, order confirmation or bank statement.
